CM Punjab E-Bike Scheme vs PAVE: What's the Difference?
Because both programmes subsidise electric bikes around the same time, it's easy to mix them up. They are run by different governments, have different budgets, and different rules. Here's how they compare.

Can I apply for both?
They are entirely separate application systems run by different governments, so there's no rule against applying to both if you meet each one's eligibility criteria — but each has its own portal, its own documents, and its own selection process. Applying to one does not affect your eligibility for the other.
Which one should I apply for?
If you're a Punjab-based student, the CM Punjab E-Bike Scheme at bikes.punjab.gov.pk is specifically built for you and generally offers a larger effective subsidy. PAVE at pave.gov.pk is open to the wider public nationwide and uses first-come-first-served rather than a ballot, which may suit applicants outside Punjab or outside the student category.
