Punjab E-Bike Guide is an independent, unofficial resource created to help students understand the CM Punjab E-Bike Scheme faster and more clearly than scattered news articles and social media posts usually allow.

This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Government of the Punjab. For applications, official rules, and the final word on any detail, always use the official portal at bikes.punjab.gov.pk.

Why this site exists

When the scheme was expanded in September 2026, information was spread across dozens of news articles, government press releases and social media posts — with several unofficial "lookalike" websites also appearing, some spreading incorrect figures. This guide pulls the verified facts into one place: eligibility, required documents, realistic costs, and the application steps, updated as the scheme evolves.

Sources & methodology

Because scheme details can change with little notice, every factual claim on this site — bike numbers, subsidy amounts, installments, eligibility, dates — is checked against sources in this order of priority, highest first:

Official Government of Punjab sources (punjab.gov.pk, bikes.punjab.gov.pk, ptf.punjab.gov.pk)
Bank of Punjab and Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) official information
Established, named Pakistani news organisations (e.g. Dawn, The Nation, Business Recorder, ProPakistani) — cross-checked, not taken from a single article
Other unofficial websites — used only to spot content-gap topics, never as a factual source on their own

When two sources disagree, we note it rather than silently picking one, and prefer whichever is newer and more official. Where a claim can't be verified this way, we say so directly instead of guessing — for example, "not independently confirmed — check the official portal."
